Tommy is a seasoned endurance racing driver who has raced for most of his career in Great Britain and Europe. With success in British Formula First, Formula Ford, Formula Renault and Formula Three he climbed the ranks to GT racing before a brief spell in the British Touring Car Championship.
Tommy soon returned to GT racing and In 2002, paired with Ian McKellar Jnr in the British GT Championship he won the title, Tommy also won the Top Gun award for achieving pole position at every round. The same year he raced in the inaugural Le Mans Endurance Series earning his wings in the LMP class.
From 2004 to 2011 Tommy drove with the highly successful RML sportscar team as the Professional partner to noted gentleman driver Mike Newton in the LMP2 class, proving himself one of the leading prototype drivers of the era, numerous pole postions, podiums and race wins during that time in the LMS and LM 24 hrs brought him both the Championship & Le Mans 24hr titles twice.
Tommy brings a vast portfolio of experience, a highly versatile skill set and a supreme knowledge of contemporary race car setup to the developing drivers he now coaches.
