Rob Bell has been racing sportscars for over seven years after working his way through the ranks of karting and single-seaters in his early driving career.
As one of Mclaren’s factory drivers Rob is integral to developing their current and future racing models, racing with customer teams and assisting with testing for future Mclaren projects in the road and race divisions of McLaren Automotive. Rob drives different marques across global championships including recent outings with the Dodge Viper and Aston Martin Vantage in GTE.
Championship titles include Formula Renault (Winter series) in 2001 & 2002 and Le Mans Series GT2 class in 2007 & 2008. Rob also finished 2nd in the GT class at the 2011 24 Hours of Daytona. In 2012 for the 12 Hours of Sebring he finished 5th in the GT class and in 2014 improved on that to take second place.
One of the foremost GT drivers of current times, having competed at the highest level in all the major sportscar series including successes in the European and American Le Mans Series, the Blancpain Endurance Championship and in all the most highly regarded endurance races in the world Rob has the experience and skill to offer a rare opportunity to benefit from a vast knowledge for any driver he works with.
